Mount St John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) has marked its one-year anniversary of service to Antigua & Barbuda and surrounding islands.
"Reaching our one-year anniversary is an exciting milestone for our hospital," said Randall Arlett, CEO of MSJMC. "We have faced many challenges this first year. The staff and physicians have done an exceptional job in meeting these challenges.”
He added that the first year was a year of transition. "We have now begun to move forward with many programmes and services," he added. "Our unrelenting commitment to the quality of care we provide our patients has positioned our hospital for success to serve our community for many years to come. Our physicians and staff are energized about our future."
Meanwhile, Marketing & Communications Manager Salma Crump said, “In the 365 days since MSJMC opened, thousands of patients have benefited from improved care in an exceptional facility. Building better patient care, and providing close-to-home treatment, is what it’s all about. Our community is benefiting from a superior hospital with expanded services for children, seniors and cancer patients. We want to thank everyone who made MSJMC a reality – from those who championed it, the people involved in moving day, and the hundreds of health care workers dedicated to exemplary patient care.”
