St. Georges Retains Miss Labour Party Crown

Antigua St John's - In a nail biting conclusion before a brutally down to earth crowd at the multipurpose center in St. John’s, Ms. Cheyenne Williams of St. Georges was crowned the new Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party Queen – the second consecutive for the constituency.

Williams was closely followed by first runner up Ms Holli Perry of St. John’s Rural North and second runner up Ms Krystina Thompson of St. Peters.

ZDK Radio’s Sly “Chief Rocker – Labour Day” Jay was the Master of Ceremonies.

The title of Miss Congeniality went to Ms. Nikesha Simon of St. Philip’s North, while the title of Miss Photogenic was copped by Ms. Akeema Davis of St. John’s City East.

Triple awards went to Ms. Kizzy Thomas of All Saints and St. Luke, who copped the prizes for People’s Choice, Best Evening Cocktail Gown and Best Swimwear.

The queen was awarded, aside from the overall crown, prizes for the best Interview Segment, best in the Achievement Section, and best Performing Talent.

The event featured four segments including an Opening Number, Swimwear, Performing Talent and Evening Wear.

Guest performances were delivered by the vocal group ‘Voices’ and Jashan Hughes, as well as Lisa Sandy and Flora Jacobs.

Georgette “Babyface” Mack and the Sabastian Sisters also delivered breathtaking performances.

Outgoing Miss Labour Party Queen was Ms Ryanchia Henry of St. Georges.
