Antigua St. John’s - Some 12 years after their first and only collaboration, Antigua’s music sensation ‘Promises No Promises’ has once again crossed paths and instruments with the renowned Don Ranking to produce hit singles on the increasingly popular “Ravers Riddim.”

Kobla Mentor known as 'Promise No Promises' is said to be Don Ranking’s first dancehall production when the two collaborated in 1999 during a short stay in Europe.

The two reportedly reconnected after Promise No Promises’ carnival Hit Song “Wine it up pun me” produced in 2012 by his production team DRAGUNZDEN in Antigua, gained notable mileage on the local and regional airwaves.

Promise No Promises reached top levels in Antigua and on the Caribbean side of the world, running his TV Shows, acting in films and jumping from stage to stage and hot spots, heating up the place with his hard-core, energetic performance skills and party-focused singing styles.

After hearing the hit single, Mr. Ranking requested the acapella to layer Promise’s ‘Wine it up pun me’ tune on his “Ravers Riddim” that he had as an unfinished pre-production.

“So it came that a few clicks later, so called “serious magic”, the lyrics fitted more than perfect on this very strong and bass loaded Hit riddim,” the two said in a statement.

The remix came from a bass fanatic called “Newface” who delivered a dirty sounding “Hands Up” kind of UK Garage rave anthem.

The song comes in three mixes: Wine it up (Club Mix - Ravers Riddim) Wine it up (Radio Edit - Ravers Riddim) and Wine it up (Newface - Garage Ravers Remix).

They will all officially be released on October 22, 2012, and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Juno Rec. and many other record stores.
