Students Prepare for Annual Pageant

Antigua St John's - Seven Antigua State College (ASC) students are getting ready to compete for the title of Mr and Miss Antigua State College.

The second annual pageant, which takes place on Saturday, February 18, from 7 pm, is hosted by the Antigua State College Circle K Club.

The contestants are Shemeba Whaul, Britney Henry, Everton Bridges, Cathy Joseph, Maria Federick, Davenia Williams, and Hayness-worth Joseph.

They will compete in five segments: Personality and Aspiration, Performing Talent, Research, Evening Wear, and Question and Answer.

This is a major event for the club to raise funds for charity.

The evening’s lineup also includes performances from ASC students, the reigning Homecoming Independence Queen, and the Elite Dance Group.

The club thanked The Source Clothing Store, Joe Mike’s, Digicel, Flo’s Perfumes, JCM Jewelers, United Colours of Benetton, and Inizio for the donation of prizes.

The Antigua State College Circle K Club is a sponsored club of the Kiwanis Club of St John’s Antigua.
