Antigua St. John's - Scores of people partied well into the night on Saturday as music from some of Antigua’s top entertainers including one of the Caribbean’s leading soca artists, Tian Winter, filled the commercial centre of the Jolly Harbour Marina Village.
After yet another thrilling and exciting day of races in the 20th instalment of the Jolly Harbour Valentine’s Regatta, the temperature was turned up several notches for the English Harbour Rum and Rhythms Party.
Popular Antiguan DJ, Nez, got the party started from early afternoon with a selection of well known hits that set the mood for the entertainment to come.
A delightful repertoire of international hits was put down by the increasingly popular 1761 band. Young and old swung to well known dance songs.
By the time the Antiguan soca monarch, along with his Iconic band were ready to take the stage, the large crowd was a lively buzz. As the crowds cheered for the Winter man himself, he responded with hit after hit from his growing list of hits that won him consecutive party monarch titles in Antigua.
