Antigua St. john's - Its that time of year again when the nation, and of course the people of Antigua & Barbuda, join the rest of the world in celebrating Christmas.

And this is also the time when those who were naughty or nice during the year that has passed are made aware of what side of the fence they really fall on.

But for those who are neither here nor there on the matter and would rather like to enjoy the spoils of being both naughty and nice, then the Marketing Machine events company has rolled out the ideal event. Known for setting the bar in events planning during the Carnival season, the Marketing Machine – headed by Chalita Rose – has made a name for themselves in the entertainment industry.

They are now on course to prove just how trusted that name is by being able to grow unhindered the Naughty or Nice Party the “Sexiest Christmas Fete Ever.” Having grown from strength to strength over the past five years, the event, still with headline act Tian Winter, moves to the Lion’s Den in 2012; its biggest venue ever. “It’s the fete to be at,” Rose said at the party’s launch on Wednesday night.

He expressed elation at the manner in which the event has managed to evolve over the years, starting with 1,245 people at the Rush Night Club in 2008. At that time the promoter had only catered for a mere 500.

The numbers have significantly grown over the years, and so have the international acts presented. This year, Rose announced that renowned Jamaican artist Baby Sham would perform alongside Winter and the Iconic Band and Eye Candy dancers. He promised a “”Santa’s Play House”-transformed Lion’s Den on Church Lane, St John's.

This year’s festivities come in collaboration with LIME Antigua & Barbuda, who have come on board with exciting promotions like a free iPhone 4S for one lucky supporter. The telecommunications services provider has teamed up with the event for the next three years.

Also, the “official” drinks that include Patron, English Harbor Rum, Cavalier Rum, Red Bull, Carib Beer, Mackeson Stout and more, promise a Christmas morning certainly never to be forgotten.

The Marketing Machine works in tandem with The Source Clothing Store, and event paraphernalia can be purchased at its Redcliffe Street location. The event takes place on December 24.

Aside from the stage performances from two of the biggest names in the Caribbean, DJs Jime and Ibis will entertain the crowd into a Baby Jesus-welcoming Christmas morning.
