Antigua St John's - With Sailing Week 2012 in full swing, locals and visitors flocked to Nelson’s Dockyard, the centre of attention for the week ahead.
Among the activities was the imobile Dockyard festival observed on Sunday.
The family affair saw thousands from all walks of life flocking the venue in anticipation of a celebration to be had.
This year saw performances from Antigua’s Claudette Peters, who delivered a one-off show that stirred responses from young and old alike.

Taxik 1761 Band was also on hand to open the event, as was the Hygh Tempa and Harmonites Steel Orchestra, along with DJ Tanny and Nez.
Artistic display were featured through an Antiguan art and photography exhibition with talent from the schools’ art competition.
The legendary Sir Vivian Richards was on hand to sign autographs and hand out sailing prizes to the day’s victors.
Ending at midnight, the event opened and closed with thousands of patrons from across the territory.
