Antigua St. John’s – The Carnival Development Committee (CDC) has announced the routes and times for the parades and other street festivities that will be part of Carnival 2012 celebrations.

Participants and the general public are hereby asked to take note and be guided accordingly.

BANK OF NOVA SCOTIA OPENING PARADE – SATURDAY 28TH JULY 2012 - Start Time: 12 Noon

Leave Culture House, right onto Queen Elizabeth Highway, right onto Independence Avenue, left onto Redcliffe Street, right onto Thames Street, right onto High Street, enter Antigua Recreation Grounds at South Gate.

LIME JUNIOR CARNIVAL ROUTE – SUNDAY 29TH JULY 2012 -- Start Time: 1 pm

Leave Culture House, right onto Queen Elizabeth Highway, left onto Independence Avenue, left onto Redcliffe Street, right onto Thames Street, right onto High Street, enter Antigua Recreation Grounds at South Gate.

J’OUVERT ROUTE 2012 – ALL BANDS – MONDAY 06TH AUGUST 2012 -- Start Time: 3 am – 10 am

Start off from Round-A-Bout on Independence Drive, right onto Redcliffe Street, right onto Thames Street, right onto High Street, right onto Independence Drive and continuing.

PARADE OF BANDS – TUESDAY 07TH AUGUST 2012 -- Time: 11 am

Start off on Market Street, left onto Newgate Street, right onto Popeshead Street, right onto St. John’s Street, right onto Cross Street, left onto High Street, left onto Independence Drive entering Antigua Recreation Grounds through South Gate.

LAST LAP ROUTE – TUESDAY 07TH AUGUST 2012 -- START TIME: 6 PM - MIDNIGHT

Down High Street, left onto Thames Street, left onto Redcliffe Street, left onto Independence Drive and continuing back down High Street.

All routes are subject to modification/change by the Royal Police of Antigua & Barbuda
