CDC Plans Calypso Workshops Antigua St John's - The Carnival Development Committee (CDC) has announced a series of calypso adjudicators workshops. The series is open to anyone who wants to become a calypso competition adjudicator.

The workshops will be conducted over a four-weekend period from Saturday June 2, to Saturday June 23. These sessions will be conducted at the Ministry of Tourism Headquarters at Queen Elizabeth Highway, in the Conference Room from 10 am to 1 pm.

These workshops will be facilitated by J Yolanda Goodwin, D Giselle Isaac-Arrindel, King Franki Francis, and Ekua Richard.

Each session will begin with an historical perspective of calypso by Richard Apparicio.

Those interested can register at the National Festivals Office NFO on the 1st floor of Pigotts’ Mall on Market and Redcliffe Streets.

Registration forms will also be available during the workshop sessions.
