No Registration Fee for Carnival Antigua St John's - The Carnival Development Committee (CDC) has announced that it has decided not to implement a registration fee process this year, as it is not in a position to do so in the way intended.

CDC Chairman Kayode O’Marde said, “In the interest of moving forward, preparations for this year’s festivities and as a demonstration of good faith, we have opted to discontinue the registration fee requirement.

It is the CDC’s desire to work hand in hand with all stakeholders of Carnival in an effort to produce one of the greatest summer festivals for the people of Antigua & Barbuda and visitors to our shores."

Registration for all areas of Carnival are now open, without the registration fee requirement. Anyone who already registered for the various events/competitions was advised to contact the National Festivals Office for further information.

Carnival 2012 will be held from July 28 to August 7.
