Antigua St. John’s - The Antigua Girls’ High School Alumni Association New York-USA, Inc. (AGHSAA NY-USA Inc.) extends heartiest congratulations to Ms. Kaeiron Saunders-Rogers and Ms. Ashley Ford on successfully completing their two-year programme at the Antigua State College’s Advanced Level Department.
Both Ms Saunders-Rogers and Ms Ford were the beneficiaries of the inaugural “In Pursuit of Excellence” Scholarship offered by the AGHSAA NY-USA Inc. in 2010.
“The young ladies have demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence and have both shown themselves to be true ambassadors of their alma mater and this scholarship programme. We wish them well in their future endeavours and trust that the scholarship opportunity has made a positive contribution towards achieving their academic goals,” the alumni association said.
The “In Pursuit of Excellence” Scholarship is an annual scholarship programme celebrating and rewarding the excellence and leadership of our youths, specifically those of the Antigua Girls’ High School (AGHS). The scholarship is designed and financed by the Antigua Girls’ High School Alumni Association New York - USA, Inc. (AGHSAA), a not-for-profit organisation comprising of AGHS past students fondly referred to as “old girls” living within the Northeast tri-state area.
The “In Pursuit of Excellence” Scholarship covers registration, tuition, books and related academic fees to assist the successful recipient to complete her studies at the Antigua State College for the required length of her chosen programme. All AGHS fifth form students are invited to apply for the “In Pursuit of Excellence” scholarship when they commence their final term at the AGHS
