@Pellucid, did the money ever really come to Antigua? There have been several articles, I will do some research and re-post, that indicated that any money (cheques etc) that came to Antigua were bundled up and sent back to Miami or Houston. While money was used for construction, that was the 1.2B that Mr.S "loaned" himself. Follow the money, 7 Billion US dollars is certainly not here!

GT seems to be perusing the same track as Picard, the Madoff liquidator. But in the Madoff case, he admitted guilt, and the US, which had chartered and regulated Madoff's firm, had no interest in the outcome. Unfortunately for GT (and the SIB(Antigua) victims), the GOAB was both the "authority", a debtor, and (in the person of Errol Cort, Minister of Whatever) an employee of Sir Allen. By appointing Vantis, the GOAB was able to get a two year head start before independent liquidators were appointed by a superior court. Now the victims of Sir Allen's Antiguan Knightsoil Factory will be lucky to receive a penny or two for each dollar sent to Antigua.

Looks like they're going after Errol [5.7], and since they're making much about statutory limits for filing certain actions, and they specifically reference Vantis' failures in this regard [5.4-5.7], they seem to be looking at some statute of limitations, under Antiguan law, to sue regulators in Antigua, as has been done in the US to the SEC in their Madoff case. And somewhat tangentially, seeing the dates referenced in both this report, and some e-mails published on the "Stanford's forgotten Victims" Blog today show an interesting coincidence of Kachroo's entrance on the stage coinciding with Vantis' exit. Of course, maybe it's just a coincidence. And, as always, we still have an "Amber Alert" for the FSRC report.

Fascinating reading. As for the past, we now know that Antiguan Government receivers (aka Vantis) has billed US$ 18 million and for that price, the creditors got less than nothing, since Vantis' only real achievements were to break the law in Canada [7.8], and hiding the GOAB's liabilities to Sir Allen's fiefdom. [Appendix A] It also seems that GT are leaving the door open to either join, succeed, or duplicate in another venue, the liability lawsuit against GOAB. [8.6] Oh, and, as acknowledged by the EC Supreme Court, Sir Allen Stanford is an Antiguan (currently residing in North Carolina, USA). [Appendix C] More after I re-read the report after work .......

Is the " local real estate consultant has been hired to help resolve title and tax issues surrounding the SIB-owned property" the same "Arab" shoe store owner who now goes around boasting that he is a Real Estate Agent. Does he have a real estate licence? Is he registered? Can Caribarena so some investigations into this matter. It is alleged that his dealings with the previous and present Liquidators are been questioned by some members of the ruling party.

Now Antigua's puppet receivers (Vantis) have been replaced by truly independent liquidators we should start to see some action. Its good to see Grant Thornton are going after another puppet of the government Andrea Stoelker, the Stanford Development Company and all its associated assets. I think in the coming months all the lies and behind the scenes dealing by Spencer and the UPP are going to come to light. Did nobody ever tell you Mr Spencer, Dr Cort, Mr Simon's that you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time......or maybe one your mothers would have told you "Lies will always out".
