Independent Minded - What planet are you on ?? Ignorance is bliss, so they say, so you must be exquisitely happy. Neither Government or any political party has anything to do with these awards, they are awarded for achievement & initiative, two traits that are in short supply in your grey matter. I fail to understand why it is that when Antiguans are rewarded for their hard work some people want to nit pick. You obviously live in the old dumb backside mentality. This country will never move forward if it is left to nincompoops like you, it's only the people that work hard ( try it sometime ), and have some initiative, take the risks and actually achieve something that willl move this country forward. I know the people that received these awards and I can say without reservation that they have worked for it, they haven't sat on their collective rear ends and complained and **ed about their shortcomings like you do, get off your backside and do something, you might achieve something !!

independent minded I am lost I really don't want to tell you what I think of your comments so let me educate you. Antigua Nice "and let me say here that I have absolutly no business interest in this company" have been for years the very best put together online advertising and marketing co. in Antigua providing fantastic coverage of Antigua and Barbuda world wide. They also help for free to promote every major event in Antigua and Barbuda. They do a weekly news letter promoting all that is happening in Antigua and Barbuda, you should read it sometimes thats if you can read. I was just saying, if also you can comprehend that the Minister of Tourism and the Tourism authority should give local businesses in Antigua the opportunity to do all of Antigua marketing for our island instead of putting the money into the hands of forigners overseas. Now how does this realate to hand outs I don't know. As for the dollar barrel I still say it's people like you who thrive on cheap hand outs at someone's else's expence.

Independent Minded apologizes for **ing in, but are you suggesting that everyone doing business with government is engaged in getting a handout? They (all) return no value for that government cheque they get?

Backburner, as you have been appropriately relegated in the kitchen, I find your comments interesting in that yesterday you were chiding someone for wanting to partake in the dollar barrel initiative yet today you are of the opinion that government should give this business handouts. Interesting isnt it. Incase you forget this is what you had to say yesterday..."Ba rrel of fun you know is people like you that f*** up this country always looking free on other peoples account."

Well done Colin and Allison it's about time that somebody awards you all for your hard work promoting Antigua and Barbuda maybe the Minister of Tourism and the Tourism authority will give you some business now instead of some overseas company that no one knows about.
