ABI Teaches Students Healthy Skills

As part of its Annual School Visits Initiative, representatives of ABI Insurance Company Ltd visited 12 schools within Zone 1 from January 24 to January 31.

The focus this year was promoting a healthy lifestyle and instilling vital knowledge to grade one students at the Old Road Primary, Urlings Junior Secondary, Jennings Primary, Bolans Primary, Five Island Primary, Visionaries for Christ Academy, Greenbay Junior Secondary, Golden Grove Primary, Christian Faith Academy, Gray's Crescent Primary, St Peter’s Primary, and TOR Memorial.

A few of the good practices encouraged were the importance of tooth brushing, eating healthy fruits and vegetables, and getting a good night’s rest.

As an added delight, each child was supplied with colouring books and supplies, packed with information to reinforce the lessons taught.

The organisers thanked the principals, teachers and students for making this year’s initiative a success.
