Atigua St. John's - WATERSCAPING LTD won a prestigious GOLD AWARD during the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals International Awards of Excellence ceremony held on November 5, 2012 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

WATERSCAPING LTD is an Antigua-based pool company owned and operated by McGyver Donelan with the support of his dedicated team of pool professionals. Andrew Goodenough - Architect, and Roberts Construction & Engineering Co Ltd are two Antiguan companies also heavily involved in this award-winning project, making it an excellent result for the island.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) is the world’s oldest and largest association representing swimming pool, hot tub and spa professionals.

Each year the APSP International Awards of Excellence recognise and reward the world’s most creative installations, and hundreds were entered in the 2012 competition. 

During the ceremony, 52 builder-companies were announced as award recipients. There were 34 categories represented in total, including six categories outside of the US and Canada.

“We were absolutely thrilled to win such a prestigious international award,” said McGyver, “especially as we were competing against so many pools from around the world. Pools are such an integral part of life here in the Caribbean and we do hope that all potential pool owners will be inspired by our winning entry.”

McGyver has over 10 years experience in the swimming pool industry. He established WATERSCAPING LTD in 2008 and since then the company has not only designed and project managed pools in Antigua, but throughout the Caribbean including Jamaica, Dominica, Grenada, Trinidad and Panama.

In addition to pool design and construction, WATERSCAPING LTD also retails pool supplies and offers an island-wide pool maintenance service.
