Antigua St. John's - Caribbean Union Bank has announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Vere Hill, tendered his resignation in order to pursue other career opportunities.
The Bank’s Corporate Secretary, Hollis Francis Jr, reported that the Board agreed to accept Mr Hill’s notice in order to allow him to follow new paths of business.
Chairman Clement Bird has thanked Mr. Hill for his services to the Bank during its formative years, and his input in the development of strong business relationships with the private sector and government.
The former CEO explained that his experience at Caribbean Union Bank is one that he will dearly cherish. Mr. Hill thanked the staff for their support, as well as the many customers and stakeholders for the trust they have exhibited in the Bank over the years. He added that the Bank’s management team deserves special thanks for the Bank’s growth and development.
Hill leaves behind a very competent management team running the operations of the Bank’s Friars Hill Head Office and Jolly Harbour Branch, led by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. William McDavid. The management and staff are fully motivated and will continue to provide “Banking the Better Way” to all clients.
The Board, Management and Staff extend their best Wishes to Mr. Hill in his future endeavors.
